I love trying products for fun. But I don’t purchase until I over analyze what I will stay on my shelves. Reading reviews, doing searches until I slamdunk a product into my cart. Even with a great plan, some products suck and I never finish. But some became stable. Better than what I imagine it to be. This is a list of products I analyzed, purchased, enjoyed, then repurchased. We can say that all took a permanent place on my shelf. Which let me tell you, the greatest achievement any product ever made dream of.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Gel Cleanser
I always think that cleansers are so basic you don’t have to pay much for it. If it cleans, never think twice. I went over the board many times when I heard some reviews about other cleansers, but I always get back to this one. It cleans well, and after spending more money on other products, I’m happy to say it became a staple again.
Avene Clean-AC Soothing Cream
I never stopped repurchasing this one until Egypt pharmacies stopped the product or Avene discontinued it (at the time, I couldn’t find the cream on the site). This moisturizer is good to be true for me. One of my friends introduced it to me years ago when she was following up with a famous dermatologist that recommended the stuff for her. My skin is a combination just like her, and I never bought it until I saw the results on her. A month ago in a short pharmacy visit, I found it there, waving for me. I never looked back. I use it day and night as the last step of my regime.
The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
You know when a product does you so good at night you don’t want to wash your face the following morning? I wake up with this smooth, glowy and rested face that I can add “a bitch” to it if I want to. I use it after cleanser at night, maybe add a serum in between, and that is it. I use it two days a week. And does wonders to my face.
Bourjois Little Round Bot Blusher
A classic. The smell represents a nostalgia for my childhood days when my mother restocked every shade of the blush for her and her sisters. It never goes out of style for me. On the nights that I feel cream blushes won’t do it for me, I swipe a brush of it and as the brush hugs my cheeks, it leaves that highlighter subtle effect that I feel complete with.
Clarins Eau Dynamisante
The layers of the freshness this perfume delivers are unbelievable for my olfactory system. I enjoy wearing it in summer and in winter to give me the kick of a promising summer. It is addictive*. * Sniffing my rest now.
La Roche Posay Anthelios Mineral 50 Sunscreen
Lightweight and simply the best sunscreen I have ever used. The texture is light, so it is buildable and gives nice smooth coverage. It has that nice fresh glow that I never get tired of. Actually, it made me tolerate any sunscreen talk. Which is major for me.
