How To Wear One Blazer In Transition Weather Three Ways

There’s nothing I love more than building outfits out of simple, practical, and classic fall pieces I already have in my closet for years. And still planning to wear for years to come. Blazers are one of the most worn items in fall and winter, a piece you can as much outfit ideas for fall as you wish. Why blazers, you may ask? for a moment, imagine winter with me. If you went to the streets, wearing your warming coat until you get to a place you can take it off. A Blazer underneath is the best companion here, it gives you options more than a sweater because you can take it off anytime, or add to it if you want to. And it is chicer than a cardigan. For that, I created three affordable fall outfits with the same herringbone wool blazer. I imagined three girls wearing it too, I don’t know why I do that.

Closed cardigans are a huge trend under blazers right now. Treat a cardigan (with a round neckline) as a shirt, and open the first two buttons. Wear it with high waisted jeans, and bowtie a belt to it, why to bowtie? because you might have got this particular belt from the men’s section because it looked so good, old, and used. You never found a chance to make fitting holes in it, so you wear it like that, and it adds personality to every look somehow.
Add the blazer, finish it with a trench that has the same color of the belt to add more… well, character. The coat is leather and will transfer the look to a brilliant casual winter work outfit. Finally, wrap it up with a pair of Converse for the “I don’t think much about my look” feel.

The one who wants to stick to summer no matter what

I feel that the theory behind the transitional weather outfits is a big fat excuse to wear the items that we can’t let go of, yet. Therefore, this one is the easiest look of the three. Because you already looked good in this outfit before, you know that look with jeans you created one day and felt so good you wanted to wear it every day? yes! That one. Style it with the blazer and pair of black patent boots with block heels, and you’re done.

Great look for the night. We will make the blazer look like it has no lapels. To achieve the look, roll the lapels up, close the buttons. Wear a hidden light top underneath, we don’t want any accidents to happen. Wear trousers with straight design and cuffed hem (if you want to, doesn’t have to be this way necessarily, but it will look chicer with the mentioned sandals). And a pair of ankle-cuff sandals with the color of your choice. Preferably, don’t wear any necklaces to have this sexy elongated neckline. To make sure the lapels will stay in place, attach them together with a hidden pin.
