If you want to experience the best coconut smell coming out of your hair, then this one is for you.
It doesn’t happen quite often that I hold my hair and smell it while sitting and writing because every other conditioner smells the same for me, and I am a regular Herbal Essence user! Meaning, the best smell you can get not only from a drugstore product but in general. I’ve found a better coconut smell that if Ross from Friends smells it, he’ll entirely forget about Rachel’s hair, I just know. *Opened the cap and took a sniff…* Gasp! Maybe Rachel was using this stuff!
Other than the smell, the conditioner is sulfate-free. Natural white. A slightly creamy thicker texture than a regular conditioner, which indicates more moisture for me.
After I shampooed my head, I used it on my wet thick curly hair, waited a couple of minutes and did a dry loofah brush, and then I washed it. It gives that kick of moisture that I always need for my curls before styling. But not as much moisture that you can get from a cream mask, and above your average drugstore conditioner. It’s in between. I half-washed my hair after, and entirely washed it. Tried it with sulfate-free and regular shampoos, and it feels the same in every wash.
I think OGX is very specific in each product. I mean if you want to define your curls you should go for Quenching Coconut Curls one, if you want that very sleek and shiny locks, then you should go for the Shea Soft and Smooth bottle and so on. This bottle is about the divine smell and the nourisher, and it didn’t lie.
