When I think about natural deodorants, the first thing comes to my mind is either ineffective or smells horrible for something labeled natural. I have been searching the stores for a natural deodorant for so long since I get out in the mornings every day, and the weather here in Jeddah is sunny all the time (talking 80 degrees sunny in normal April days). And if you considered running outside, well, you need something a little bit more than strong itself.
I found Nuxe deodorant while I was searching for French products to try. And since I love Nuxe, and haven’t had much luck with other deodorants, I wanted to try this semi-natural deodorant version. Because let’s be honest, there are few selections of natural deodorants in the world let alone in Jeddah.
The smell of it indicates hope. It doesn’t smell weird and it’s incredibly subtle. I have worn this Nuxe roll-on, easy to apply product every morning, for long runs, and in climate-controlled rooms. Has Nuxe passed all of the tests? well, no. I didn’t expect it to be very powerful since most of natural deodorant aren’t. But I excepted the sweat to be absorbed somehow. It barely passed the easiest test which was the climate-controlled room where I was just sitting doing nothing. It made me feel like I’m sweating even more than I already am. Where this leaves me? On a hunt for that perfect natural deodorant because I just deserve more. Recommendations?
