These New Cocktails Will Be Your Favorite

This year, Georges Monin France and Bidfood KSA are hosting a national edition of Monin Cup 2019. Where participants bartenders are chosen based on their creativity, and presentation, whilst using Monin products, to create signature drinks. I was invited to the semi-final of Monin Cup 2019, which was held in Jeddah on November, 3rd. At the event, two of the five competing bartenders were qualified to go to the Monin Cup final, which will be held on the 5th December in Riyadh.

I like to try and make, new nonalcoholic cocktail versions, because there is a whole lot of world, and challenges, to experience in this area. And as the holiday season is approaching us, it got me thinking about some nonalcoholic beverages that would be favored by adulthood. And what’s a better chance than take it from the pros, right? So with the help of the two winning bartenders from the aforementioned competition, I got you these unique two cocktails. YAY! Recipes as follows.

Red Fairy

This unique recipe will kick your energy through the upcoming season like nothing else. You will crave the balance between the sweetness of the chili, and acidity of the pomegranate and make an excuse to do it often.

Serving: 4 cocktails
Total time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

½ cup Monin Passion Fruit Puree
2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 cups pomegranate juice
¼ tsp. ginger
1 tsp. red chili powder
1 can of club soda

Steps

1.

Put some ice in 4 Pinot Noir glasses. Add all the ingredients, except for the club soda, to two shakers, and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into the cocktail glasses; top with 3 oz. soda to each and stir. Garnish with some pomegranate and serve.

Mango Colada

This nonalcoholic Mango colada, will give you the exact hint of summer you just need in your chilly days. The bouquet of flavors you will experience with each sip is going to make it stable in your cocktail life.

Serving: 4 cocktails
Total time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Monin Strawberry syrup
1 tbsp. Monin peach syrup
1 tbsp. Monin coconut syrup
1 tbsp. Monin cherry puree
½ cup pineapple juice
1 cup mango juice
½ cup crushed ice

Steps

1.

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and thick. Garnish with slices of mango, pour in goblet glasses (a fancier one), add a fun reusable straw, et voilà.
